Kelsey is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and has been working with children for over 12 years. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Kelsey is trained in IoWa Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (IoWa-PCIT) with a focus on attachment, TF-CBT (Trauma – Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). She has also been trained in Circle of Security and ACES. Kelsey enjoys working with children who exhibit challenging behaviors and helping parents feel success in managing their behaviors and confident in their parenting abilities. Kelsey works with children and adults who have experienced trauma and prides herself on creating a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental environment for all of her clients. Kelsey is married with two sons and has one cat and one dog at home. Kelsey spends her free time with her family and friends, watching movies, and being outdoors.
