Brittany is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and has been working with children for over 15 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, all from the University of Nebraska- Omaha. Brittany has experience in care management, as well as facilitating group and family therapies. She has worked with children and adolescents suffering from chronic mental illness in both residential and day program settings. Brittany is also fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has been trained in Circle of Security and ACES. Brittany primarily works with adolescents and families that have experienced trauma. She understands the importance of a therapeutic relationship and non-judgmental environment. Brittany is married with two daughters and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys playing and watching sports, and spending time with her family.
